Hi, I am pregnant with my 2nd and i want to breast feed. I had breast implants a few years ago and i was told that i would be able to breast feed. I was wondering if any one has any advice/stories good or bad to share.

I think that I saw a programme ages ago on tv where someone was able to breast feed having had implants.

Only a vague memory, but I think it can depend on the type of implant.

The general rule I believe is tht if you try and establish feeding by putting the baby on the breast when he/she shows readiness and as often as possible ou may be able to feed. I don't think it's possible to tell until you've tried. And theres no harm in giving it a go.

My best friend has successfully breast fed her 5th DC with implants. She managed 9 months of it.
