Who is still on 60 - 80% BF (by choice) at 9 to 12 months?

Hi,
Just wondering who also is not replacing all meals by 12 months by choice? I offer lunch and dinner but keep the other 4, 5 bf a day.
He's a good eater but I think it's just better to feed him longer that way.

My daughter was feeding 3-4 times a night as well as in the morning and when I got home from work at 5ish. She still had a good go at three meals and an afternoon snack!

Mine is nearly 12 months and I have not dropped any day feeds (she has 4-5) and has three meals a day plus snacks. Can't say she eats a lot of food yet though!

12 month old eats 3 meals and snack per day and drinks water with them. Breast feeds all night and 4-5 times by day.

She hasn't liked cows milk yet but will try again in a months time.

I feed on demand still at 14 months. That's at least 5 times a day when I'm not working and lots at night too. However when he got to 1 I started offering food when he asked for milk and then he has milk after eating if he still wants it. I did this only because he seems so much more hungry recently and I thought that would maximise the solids and fill him up a bit more. I'd guess we're about 50/50 milk/food calories now

I'm also demand feeding at 18 months. I was offering DD 3 meals a day by the time she was 1, but whether she would actually eat them was another question... I offered snacks eg a bit of toast / banana / biscuit mid morning and afternoon too but she would rarely have them until fairly recently. I'm pretty much doing the same as mummysmells now and have beenfor a few months but with day feeds probably down to 2-4 now depending on DD. If she wants food, she'll eat, if she wants milk, she'll have milk. However much DD eats she still seems to have room for milk, so I wouldn't worry too much about your LO replacing milk with food, mine at lest seems to have plenty of capacity for both.

My DD is 13 months now and still BF on demand. When she turned 1, I swapped round and now give her solids first and then BF after if she wants it. It means getting a wriggle on and downstairs for breakfast pretty soon after she wakes up but she still feeds at least 4 times per day and then during the night too. Plus 3 good meals per day and snacks.

Me. I feed on demand when not at work. Dd is 10 months. She seems to eat solids on top of milk!! I haven't replaced any feeds with solids. Just tend to offer both!!
