BF baby liquid poo (sorry if tmi!)

14 week old DS is EBF and poos have been 'normal' since birth, that is they have been yellowy with bits in. For the last few days however there have been no 'bits' in the poo, it is just a very runny, yellow liquid. Could this be diarrhoea? Or is it just another form of BF baby poo?! I can't think that I've eaten anything different in the past few days and with regard to DS, he seems pretty healthy in all other respects.

Sounds normal, mine have all fluctuated between slightly thicker bitty poo and the runnier stuff. Bf babies with the runs usually has a horrible smell to it and there is LOADS more than usual, can be green and frothy too.

Sounds normal - just a variation. Check with HV if you are still concerned. :)

dd2 is 18 days old and that sounds pretty normal, same with dd1

think its normal. DS is 14 weeks EBF & his poos are always v runny kind of raw egg consistency. only difference for us is he only poos once a week now instead of every day.

its quite a poonami when it finally comes Shock

Thanks, that's reassuring, I think these must just be a variation on the normal then.

Immediately after I posted he did one that exploded out the front and back of his nappy and led to a bath and a binned vest Shock Lovely!

I was told that diarrhoea is mucousy while normal poo is not.
