Self-weaning - I think it's finally happening!

DD has been talking for a while about stopping when she's 4.

It's her birthday tomorrow and she's been fairly sporadic over the last couple of weeks, used to ask every morning but it's only been a few times.

She had a v perfunctory go earlier as 'I'm still 3 mummy', but I think this is it... It feels like a really gentle end.

Definitely wouldn't have got this far without MN Smile

That is lovely to hear - am watching with interest as ds (3.4) is still feeding and I'm looking forward to the self weaning thing, maybe 3 will be it for us too!

Wisteria - even 6 months ago DD was still really attached to bf, talking about giving up made her really sad. But feels like she's really matured in the last couple of months, in terms of confidence and independence.
