Can't find that website i saw on here to check the drug but a tummy bug has hit our house and in desperation I took a Lomotil tablet to stop mine in the wee hours. Just totally forgot to think if it goes to the milk.
What an idiot I am.

Not an idiot at all, perfectly understandable, you poor thing!

I'm not sure where the website is, I know the one you mean but can't think what it's called - but I hope someone on here will turn up soon and tell you.

Hello. Yu're not an idiot. Sorry you've been poorly.

Here's some help

SledsImOn · 22/12/2012 07:31

PDF

Doesn't mention lomotil, but their helpline may be open.

TheOldestCat · 22/12/2012 07:32

As sledsImOn says, give them a ring. They were very helpful when I had some queries a couple of years back.

Yes, give BFN a call, they know their stuff, or you can check on Lact Med.

The annoyingly difficult to navigate but useful e-lactancia site (www.e-lactancia.org/ingles/inicio.asp) says it's moderately safe: has a mild risk of sedation or constipation in baby, which doesn't sound particularly worrying. Probably good to give BFN a call too.

Gah, failed to do a link:

Thanks so much everyone, so best not to take it, Imodium is better but since I've only taken a v small dose, will be fine.

I knew I'd get payback for feeling smug at finished wrapping yesterday!
