Thats the question really, I know there is a method where you work it out with their weight...does anyone know what it is?

This says weight in pounds x 2.5 = oz milk. I can't vouch for it, DD was just demand fed formula, but I imagine if you have a guzzler that wouldn't work.

I'd just feed on demand and watch the weight gain tbh. Babies grow at different rates and have different metabolisms just like we do.

My two were vastly different, dd1 hardly hungry at all dd2 massively hungry. They both weighed much the same to 6 months, its baffling. You just need to feed on demand, but once they stop not try again. They then just take what they need and assuming they grow well then all is fine.
