What sort of cup should an almost 2 year old drink from????

DD is almost two and I have no idea what sort of cup she should drink from!

She cant drink from an open cup without tipping it down herself. She is clearly too old for bottles with teats (although I confess that is what we have been giving her for milk)

What sort of cup do dentists reccomend? ie Does anyone know what sort of cup is best for their teeth?

TIA :)

DD drank from open cups. She started with a Doidy cup and progressed from there. She never got on well with spouted cups.

My DD, 22 months, drinks from a spouted cup that is quite fast flowing, also uses a sports type cup and one with a straw attachment which she loves.

My dd, 22 months, drinks from an open cup. Started off by only putting a small amount in and, as it was only water, not worrying about spills (just gave her a cloth and got her to mop up!). Now she can manage a 3/4 full cup without a problem.

So maybe tommorrow i should at least try an open cup!

And Ill ditch all the bottles and all the bits!

And persaude her that there is another way - she is not going to like it...............

Thankyou all for your thoughts :)
