To anyone who has fallen pregnant while breastfeeding...

...how on earth did you know you were pregnant? And how far along were you when you found out? (assuming you didn't have your periods back). DS is 17mo and I've not had a period yet but for some reason I have a feeling that I might be pg. We've been kinda not trying/not preventing, so it's perfectly possible.

I will be POAS soon, but just curious as to other's experiences.

It wasn't very obvious tbh. The only thing that gave me a clue was I had put a little weight on and it was all on my tummy. I had none of the symptoms of previous 2 pgs. I mentioned it vaguely in passing to the GP and he laughed and said I very much doubt you are (ds2 was only 3 months old) but why don't you do a test to put your mind at rest. As it turns out, I was 8 weeks pg.

The rest as they say is history. I would POAS ASAP

I knew because I POAS - but DS was 2 years old, we had been trying for DC2, and my periods were back, albeit irregularly.

POAS for me too. We were trying so I POAS as soon as my period was late. No other symptoms, unlike the first time around.

DS was 11 months old & I was having really irregular cycles but we were TTC so it was POAS for me too. Hope you got the result you wanted!
