Dirty nappies and breastfeeding.

Hi all
15 day old ds is breastfeeding with the occassional formula top up. Today is his second day without a dirty nappy, but he averages 7 wet nappies a day. Should I be worried/contacting someone?

EBF babies can go a few days between poos, but usually after the first few weeks - I would be a little concerned at this stage. Is he feeding enough? Gaining weight? Why the top ups?

We had issues with his weight early on, hence the top ups. But he has been gaining for the past week (700g since last Sunday)
He's feeding a lot and I've had advice from bf support as recent as last thur so pretty sure he's feeding correctly

How often does he get a top-up?

It's not that unusual for mostly BF babies to not poo alot. When mine was 3/4 months old he didn't poo for 10 days!!

In a baby a bit smaller though, I'd probably ring the HV after the 3rd day of no poo.
