9 month old sudden increase in frequency of poos

Hi all,

My bf 9 month old dd is suddenly pooing lots, and it is often green. I am blw, and her poos have been pretty solid, but the last three or so days, she has been pooing a couple of times in the night, and lots more in the day. She's gone from one, solid poo every 24 hours, to about 5 or 6 in 24 hours.

Is this something to worry about? She seems fine in herself.

Thank you

It could be a reaction to something new she has eaten? Or perhaps she is just eating a lot of one specific thing or type of food.

Poo is actually made up of red and green, from what I remember of my human biology 'a' level! So perhaps she is eating lots of 'green poo' stuff!

Thanks spoon. I don't think I've added anything new to her diet, but will have a think.

DS does this when teething. From one a day to several a day and EVIL.

Could also have a mild tummy bug.

Ah! Teething! Hadn't even thought of that, and she's my second, so I should be more clued up. Thanks isee for pointing out the bleeding obvious!
