My health visitor asked me would I be interested in supporting other bf mums. I said yes and I'm now on a 12 week training course with LLL. I have been lucky so far that I've only ever had minor problems bfeeding my 3 and had excellent support from family etc so never had to contact any groups like LLL. I was wondering if anyone has just to get some more information about what will be required from me, did you find it helpful, etc. Thanks

lac8 - I am really impressed with you now - bf when you were only 19 years old Smile

cheers koolkat, thought I'd give it a go as the milk was flooding out of me from being 4 months pregnant! I put away the money for bottles, steriliser etc but didn't buy them before DS1 born. I just thought I'd see how bfeeding went but could always send someone out to get bottles if I needed them. One of the best choices I made Smile

Are you still feeding DS?

Who needs plastic bottles, when you got the flesh variety hanging right in front of you, eh ?

Yes, I am one of those long-term feeders (non-hippy, non-lentil munching variety) Grin

He will be 22 months in a couple of weeks.

LOL at non lentil variety!Grin

Nothing beats it does it? 22 months is fantastic! Really trying to appreciate feeding DD as I know it'll be the last time I do it. Already being asked how long I'm going to feed her for by mums at playgroup, they all seem to think I'm just doing it til I put her on a bottle??
