ds 18 months still having bottle at 11pm

I am trying to get him through night and off this bottle and he just wont stop screaming!!!

When will he ever stop this feed?

hi, i had this with dd2 in the end we watered it down a tiny bit every night took about two weeks to get to water, then gave up, also bought a nighttime cup for water which she chose and then said her baby bottle was broken which she seemed fine with. good luck

slowly watering down is the way.... this way it becomes less interesting for him and it is then his choice to stop

yes, we did the watering down thing too and it did work. Though if Iremember rightly we did have to grit our teeth and do a bit of controlled crying, but literally only for a couple of nights at the usual feed time.

He did start to wake up a bit earlier in the a.m though, once he'd given this feed up!

Gosh-I hadnt thought about watering down.Last night i did the pick up ,put down whatever it is routine.
Took an hour,then he went through night and NO bottle(that was his first night ) so looks promising

ds now going through the night yippee

lol. Problem now is you will get too much sleep and still be tired
