I had an old biddy in Tesco double take at me feeding DS in the cafe yesterday and I braced myself for an earful but instead she said, 'It is such a RELIEF seeing that!' She went onto say how much she loved feeding her babies and had a rant about her granddaughter who wouldn't even entertain the idea of BFing her baby.

This was all within earshot of a worryingly young mother shovelling baby rice (very unsuccessfully, not surprisingly) into her baby who didn't look much more than 3 months old...

Elphaba that makes me so sad. Poor poor baby. Speaking as a young mum, unfortunately they seem to get the worst advice. They allocate the most 'experienced' health visitors to those under 18, which normally means the most old fashioned :(

On a happier note, this video has made me laugh yet again this morning.
