For those feeding children who have started crawling/cruising, and have some teeth or older....

Dont attempt to b/feed whilst child has lump of chewed up paper in their mouth that they have managed to secrete in their gums - it can cause a child to bite instead of suck, and could cause further problems swallowing any milk that they may get

Also don't feed them with a grape skin stuck to the roof of their mouth, for similar reasons...

my dd4 has 6 teeth but only bites when had enough / is tired and almost asleep --will be watching out for paper lol.

I yelped rather loudly - it made DS cry but he is a sensitive soul. I still didnt know he had the paper in his mouth until he sat up and spat it out in disgust after gagging.

Thought my milk had gone sour at first!
