Dr Brown level 2 nipples too fast!

DD is 4 months, but still using level 1 teats. I've tried changing to 2's a couple of times but she seems really uncomfortable - squirming, crying vomitting! Especially at the last feed of the day when she's tired. She takes 20-30mins to take 7oz with the level 1's, but there's no squirming etc with these. Does anyone else have a baby who hasn't moved to the next level teat at the recommended age?

Haven't got any experience sorry Keznel but hopefully this will bump for you Smile.

I have just started trying my LO on level 2 Dr Brown's teats as he was getting to tired drinking the whole bottle on level 1 and falling asleep.

He coughs a bit, but seems to be ok so far, he's 13 weeks actual, 3 corrected.

Maybe if your baby is more comfortable on level 1 stay on that for a while longer? I think the recommendations are just guidelines?

Someone else might be a bit more experienced and can give you a better answer.

I'm sure that when my ds was using dr Browns you could get a variable flw teat so that the flow went with the baby's own demand. Have a look and see if you can get some.
