Poll for mothers who breastfed... what was your bra size before, during and after??

I had my boobs measured last week. I had been wearing mothercare nursing bras but found they offered little support so I got measured at John Lewis.
I used to be a 36B or 36C depending on the shop, but when I was measured I was a 38F!!! (My DD is 5 months old btw).

So, I just thought I'd start a quick poll so that I could get a gathering as to what size my boobs will be when I finish breastfeeding! (No immediate plans, I am hoping to go til she's 1 1/2 - 2 depending on how it all goes).

Ooh, glad I found this thread... am desperately hoping that I will one day be more than just a pair of boobs again.

Did want to ask whether the nasty big veins that appear go away at all?

Not sure, because I went and got them expensively fitted out and discovered I am an F cup (?!) I think they are much the same sort of size as they used to be, albeit a bit further down on my chest. As norks go, they're not that bad, given I am a very old person of 42.

mine are now 34d, and went to 36G/H whilst breastfeeding ds and dd, but they were smaller after 1st breastrfeeding period which is a bit odd that after 2nd they are bigger.

Mine definitely reappeared about 6 months after I finished breastfeeding and my body fat redistributed itself. I've only had two children and my boobs are in reasonable shape, just not quite as perky as they were before.

Why is it that some women go bigger after bf and some go smaller? I am definitely of the smaller variety - 34C before and during, now 30B, spaniels and all (sob!). Must admit to being slightly {envy} of women who gained rather than lost..
Slight hope in sight though - went to Rigby and Peller in London to be fitted and it was free and they were absolutely fantastic. The woman knew straight away what size I was and immediately brought 2 bras that were expensive (50) but fit really well and didn't make me feel quite depressed as is my wont when bra buying. I really recommend them.

Does it depend on whether you lose or put on weight post-baby/pregnancy? I lost and got smaller. Jennifersofia, looks like you lost as well as your chest width got smaller.

I was a D before and a F after. Breastfed for five months.

How come all you women got bigger after bf ??? I dropped a cup size for each baby and I didn't have much to start with!

I was a fair B before... I think I went up to a C during (but never measured).

Not happy afterwards though - went to a limp barely-B-probably-almost-an-A-if-i-didn't-refuse-to-accept-that-i-have-the-bra-size-of-a-teenager.

Ummm, could be blueshoes. I lost v quickly after all three DD's.
