Hi Pootle remember u from pregnancy thread . My LO is 3 weeks Thursday. I'm going through similar getting fed up Being stuck to the sofa! Hope it will pass soon

I think the weather doesn't help. My dd is 3 weeks old and after what I thought was a growth spurt last week is now constantly grazing but I think this is because she is thirsty in the heat. I am knackered and fed up and hoping it passes soon. I know what you are going through.

The only thing I have done is expressing a bottle that dh can give her so I can have a sleep or break.

There is light!

You need sofa, tv remote, snacks to hand, large glass of water, laptop/iPhone (for MN) and a magazine.

And then Don't. Move

Visitors come - they must bring you food and take away washing.

Friends want to 'help' - give out jobs

Has your milk come in yet?

Hi cheeky how you getting on?

I'm kind of glad it's not just me! And did think the weather must be having some effect on him.

I think I may express lig , I just need to remember to do it!!!

Oh well, just need to make sure I have the tv remote and iPod in easy reach when I sit down and some chocolate healthy snacks!

Hi Pootle ! We are good thanks my LO is 3 weeks thursday :( going too fast! She was 9lb and is a gannet ! She literally drinks so fast she starts choking ! Then she looks for more and starts gagging as she is so full up :/ it's pretty hard going really and it's always me getting up y DP snores grrrrrrrrr but i should space out soon I'm feeding every hour to hour abd a half and I was grateful to b able to half cook dinner last night jus to b off the sofa!

JiltedJohnsJulie · 22/08/2012 09:38

Pootle it will calm down, have a look at Nursing your newborn, what to expect.

Agree with the others, just camp out on the sofa, ours has a definite bfing groove Grin.

You don't have to express to get a break though. DH can help out with other things like giving LO a bath and getting ready for bed or after a feed, get him to change LO and take out in a sling or pushchair for an hour so that you can have a nap.
