my ds decided he didn't want to be breastfed any more about a week ago, he's 13 months. I have tried to give him cow's milk in a beaker before bed but he really isn't interested so that's it, no milk before bed. It does worry me a bit as he seems to have gone off food a bit as well.

Nah.
My 11 mth old self weaned.
I've sent him to bed with nowt but a sip of water since then.

They really don't need cows' milk. Neither of mine ever drunk it./

mine .. since about 10.5 months too

DS hasn't needed milk at bedtime since he was very small.

Neither of mine have had milk at bedtime since they stopped bf at 12 months and 17 months.

I decided to stop that milk when DS was around a year IIRC. It was the time when he drank the least, and therefore made the most sense to cut that one out. Probably better for his teeth too! Smile

He only started sleeping through after xmas so I have been paranoid he's going to start waking again. So far so good though!!

Dts still have a drink of warm milk before bedtime, they are 26months nowSmile

DS1 has milk every night before bed - has to be warm and in an Avent beaker with a spout. He is 4 Blush
DS2 hasn't had any milk before bed since his last breastfeed when he was about 14m. He is 2.5 Smile

DS1 doesn't (he's 23mo) - hasn't since I stopped bfeeding him when he was 16mo.

Not always - they usually get a cup but half the time they don't drink it - they are almost 5, 3 and 18 months.

Tbh, once I get them off bottles (about 11 months) they pretty much go off bedtime milk.
