Hi,
My baby is 5weeks old now and after a shaky start to bf things are now much better.we're just finishing off treatment for thrush,and my left nipple is healing from being cracked totally in two.due to an inverted nipple I use a shield on that side.iv been to bf consultant many times over the last few weeks.still,when I feed from the left side I get stabbing pains in the nipple area for the first couple of minutes.it gets even worse at night.I take ibuprofen during the night to try to control the pain.anyone know what it could be or have any suggestions for how to help?!
