Sigh. Well it had to happen sooner or later...

AF is back! Sad

I thought it was looming on the horizon now that DD is 8 months old and sleeping for much longer stretches.

Oh well, it was nice whilst it lasted!

Well it does show you are now fertile if you want to try for another.

Mine stayed away for about 18 months which was incredible, but my friend got hers back at 3 months Shock

Well I'm on the mini-pill as well so not trying just yet!

Also I've still to get over DD's not very nice birth.

Mine came back after 8 weeks and I am ebf Shock
I was gutted!

I got mine at 4 weeks - mixed feeding though. I've been EBF for the past 3 weeks, and had a visit, even though I'm taking Cerazette. I was previously on Cerazette for 5 years and never had one period in all that time.

We should get at least a year off after birth as compensation for the bood loss in labour and the lochia! Biology is just not fair!!

OPeaches · 22/07/2012 14:40

DD is 17 months and only feeds once or twice a day and I STILL haven't had a period. Keep expecting it any day, surely it should be back by now???

showtunesgirl · 22/07/2012 21:37

I think it varied wildly from person to person.

Oh lord, yes lochia! I had mine for AGES!

Yep I had a month of lochia then 4 weeks later AF. And that was ebf. Still, it helped us conceive dc2 when dd was 9 months and still bf :)

SarryB · 23/07/2012 10:15

I had lochia for just 2.5 weeks, after that it was light enough to just use a very thin panty liner.

poocatcherchampion · 29/07/2012 22:49

I'm waiting for mine, nearly time to start working on the next!
