How long does it take for breast milk to dry up?

I stopped breastfeeding my daughter at 12 months old, about two months ago now. Last night I had a bath and my breasts felt tingly, I looked at them and clear liquid was coming from them, so I gave them a gentle squeeze and more liquid and yellow stuff (as if I was pregnant and it was colostrum). Is this normal after so long of not bast feeding?
I did think I was pregnant last month but started my period and then started back on the pill (as we decided not to try for another just yet) so can't be pregnant and if I was would a test show up positive when I'm on the pill?

Sure it is to do with breastfeeding but thought I would ask on here as am a little worried.

I stopped bf about 3 months ago and there's still milk there. Not sure how long it will still be there though.
