Breastfeeding, mini pill and morning after pill- worried!

Can't quite believe I have done this, given that my sex life is virtually non existent at the moment, but last night after DH & I had sex I realised I had run out of my mini pill. I know that sounds completely stupid but I thought I had another strip in the packet- I did not.
So now I am worried about my chances of getting preg. I am still bfing my DD but she is 9 months old and a good eater.
I have tried to get an appointment with my doc today to get more pills and discuss concerns but they don't have any appointments available.
Should I be worried given that it is a one off?
Is it safe to take the MAP when bfing? Can I get it free with my maternity exemption card?

Look up Wendy Jones, the Breastfeeding Network, she's the specialist pharmacist there and should be able to answer your questions.

www.breastfeedingnetwork.org.uk/drugs-in-breastmilk-information-and-factsheets.html this answers your questions.

Yes, you can get it free (though phone the pharmacy first - I am not 100 oer cent sure of that)

No, you don't normally need to see a doctor.

Yes, it is safe to use it and continue bf.

Thanks for the replies. I spoke to my doctor who recommended the MAP. No more babies for the time being.
