My little one is 2 wks old today and since he was 1.5 wks old, 9 out of 10 he have watery poo...sometimes green but mostly yellow/orange. had he got a upset tummy? Hes on med for oral thrush too but the watery poos been here before he started med.

Thanks

I'm not an expert but yellowy/orangey loose poo is ime quite normal for a bf baby. Ds2's poo is a bit greeny if I've had to have antibiotics or sometimes depending on what I've eaten.

I wouldn't describe ds1 or ds2's poo when ebf as watery though (just loose/runny) so If you're concerned best to speak to your HV or GP.

Why not give your health visitor a ring? You could keep a nappy for her to look at.
At two weeks my baby's moved from having looked (to my mind) like saag aloo, to looking like chicken korma. Don't know if you mean more watery than that though.

EBF babies do have liquid poo rather than solid - curry sauce was quite a good description!

If by watery, you mean, it's like dirty water, then that's an issue to go to the HV or GP with.

If you mean, it's like a curry, then that's normal.

Totally normal. There's a 'poo photo gallery' on the babycentre.co.uk website. Will try to link... www.babycentre.co.uk/photo_galleries/baby-poo/

Sorry mis-read re green poo. Not so normal. Pop gallery covers green poo. Happy viewing!!!
