Long term expressing... How many times a day must you express?

I am just about to drop to 4 times a day but want to be sure that this will not affect my supply... so far I have reduced fairly easily but am feeling very sore with this one....I wonder if 5 times might be my limit?

I tried expressing 6 times a day and it just about killed me, so have reduced it to 5 times and so far it has been OK (each time for about 30 minutes), I haven't noticed any reduction in supply (yet). I know one should be expressing more than that but it really reduces the quality time I can spend with my DS who is 9 weeks old (not to mention going to the toilet, sleeping, cooking, showering, going for a walk in the park once a day, going to a baby massage course, etc.), not to mention it is actually pretty exhausting and mind numbing (I have been watching every single programme under the sun on BBC iPlayer).

Not sure how long I can keep it up for, it just seems a shame to let all this breast milk dry up but if I get to the point that I am going insane, I'll gradually need to reduce it. :(
