how long after stopping bf do you produce milk for?

dd is 18 mo and we stopped about 10 days ago though I was onlydoing one feed a day and I think she was hardly getting any. I am also three months pg. When will my boobs stop producing do you think or as I am pg will they continue to do so? I'm not leaking but there is def milk there.

Sorry I can't answer your question but I fed for similar time to you and continued to produce milk for 4 weeks when I stopped. I wasn't pg though. It was much longer than I thought it would take to dry up!

I BF'd DTs for 18 months and even when I was pg with DS3 7 years later, mine still 'worked'. I felt sure at the time that this wasn't normal so I shall watch this thread with interest!

Once I stopped completely, they continued producing in smaller and smaller amounts for about 2 months, specially in a hot shower!

I could still express a bit 3.5 years after stopping breast feeding. Weird !
