When to swap sides if baby snacks

I feed from one side per feed as I have and at 7 months, still am dealing with oversupply. Sometimes my baby will have a good feed and then when she wants to nurse again, I will put her on the other side (although if she goes less than 2hrs I tend to put her back on the same side, as if I swap sooner than that, she doesn't seem to be ready for the large quantity of milk that floods her! However quite often she seems to just snack or have a quick drink, I then get confused as to which side to offer when she wants to nurse again! Was just wondering what everyone else does and how you cope with snacking re when to swap sides. I am sure it would be easier if I didn't have much darn milk! Would you still swap sides at next feed if the side last fed on did not feel really soft or would you offer the fullest? Confused a's it is difficult to know whether she wants comfort or food! Thanks in advance for your replies.

My DD is coming up to 7 months and I have the exact same problem as you. What I tend to do is offer one boob within 3 hours and then swap to the other. Unless she has a really good feed from one then I would offer the other one sooner.

I get myself into such a mess some days and end up looking lopsided. I thought my oversupply issues would have settled down by now. I think it's having to readjust again as DD is now on solids. It's never ending.
