What sort of cup to wean EBF baby on to?

Background: DD2 is EBF and refuses to take a bottle. When we do attempt to get her to take one she just babbles at it and chews the teat... and then chews my nipple at the next bf. ouch!

I go back to university in 6 weeks and she's be going to a crèche. They are happy to use a cup or a bottle for EBM (we had planned to try formula in her bottle, but it seems she has issues with dairy, so we're going to stick with EBM).

So. For my sanity - and the protection of my nipples! - we've decided we'll try a cup next. But what sort? Just one of those tommee tippee ones? Or an open cup? She does have a non-spill cup I use for water, but she chews on that more than she drinks from it.

Thanks!

My ebf. 6m old likes tommee yippee juice type beakers.

My first child liked tommee yippee big chunky beakers £4.80 I think Wink

I've got a variety of soft spout, free flow sippy cups & a doidy. DS happy with them all. Get a few and chuck them in with toys for a few days so DD can get used to them being around.

How old is she? DS had a Doidy cup from 5 months ish which he quite liked, but is a bit labour intensity for how much they actually drink! On the plus side, it meant that he was happy to sip out of pretty much any glass/cup and used an open beaker by himself from about 1y.

SsshhhGoBackToSleep - she's 9 months old. So in theory a cup should be no problem. She manages her water cup fine, although it's more of a toy & doesn't get much out of it, so I was thinking of a different one for EBM...
