Green in poo, remind me what it means?

I know this comes up alot but can someone remind me what green poo means in EBF babies? LO has mustard poos but now with green mucous and today bright green bits. She has also been very unsettled today and clingy/constantly feeding for about a week now.

I had thought it was a growth spurt coinciding with a cold (she's also very snotty) until the green poo arrived. Any thoughts?

I always thought it meant baby was drinking too much of the fore milk (thirst quenching milk at start of the feed) and not getting enough of the fatty hind milk (comes at the end of the feed.

My baby has had it once or twice, but I recognised it more as a sort of green frothy poo. Don't remember it being bright green.

A few things can be the cause of green poo- a cold being one of them. Usually it's temporary and nothing to worry about. There's some info here about it, along with more about the foremilk/hindmilk thing that Bellakins mentioned.
