Big thumbs up for the Beatrix Potter attraction in the Lakes - their cafe menu has a little note to say that mothers are very welcome to breastfeed their baby in the cafe (ok, child might be better but it's still good).
I complimented them on this. They said they like to be child friendly (naturally, given the venue), but as I said, it's nice to know they have the right attitude as it gives people more confidence to bf.
Just nice to have a good word to say about a shop rather than a rant
(and their chilli chicken ciabatta was lovely)

It is exactly the sort of place I would want to go to. Is that your dh?? He's pretty tasty too. And what a great name you have,and you are described as a 'goddess'!!

You are so sweet moondog, I feel quite embarrassed. Yes that is my lovely dh and there is even a small glimpse of me aswell but I very rarely work in there since dd and ds were born. I just push the paperwork at home.

I was expecting some bog standard little cafe tbh you know the sort-flat coke and flaccid prawn baguettes-yuck!)so a very pleasant surprise!
