Just met my first tandem bf'ers IRL :)

I'd not met any in the flesh before, but yesterday I met one lady who tandems and one who did - and, I think, who tri-andemed at one point. We weren't even at a baby-related group, so it was a bit of a coincidence.

I feel dead chuffed. I'm likely to be tandemming myself unless DS or I change our minds before DC2 arrives, and it always feels odd to be doing something that no-one you've ever met has done.

There's no real point to this post, but I felt I needed a forum to say how pleased I was. :)

I met my first rl tandem a few weeks ago too - and I have been tandemming for 4 1/2y so it was a big first.

Not so bad now - being off the dodgy meds has helped loads . How many weeks are you now?

Brilliant :) I remember my first time meeting another tandem feeder too, it was ace to swap funny stories. Am currently trying to teach my DDs to high five each other when I'm BF them both.

I'm 15 weeks now and less tired than I was - but still feeling first trimester-ish.

Actually, the meeting-tandemmers-occasion was only the second time that someone opened the next topic of conversation with, "So, are you planning to home educate then?" Very refreshing.

I like the idea of high-fiving!

DD1 used to stroke DD2's hand while they fed together. They read Mister Seahorse today (Eric Carle book about male fish who look after/gestate babies) and we ended up watching the breast crawl video and the Brazilian birth video that's doing the rounds - they loved it although DD2 insisted she never, not once drank amniotic fluid but spat it out instead - funny girl!
