Moving from breast to bottle - when and how much to feed?

I have just finished bf-ing my 5 month old DD and she is now fully bottle fed. I have also started to give a wee taste of solids, just in the last few days, a bit of baby rice and purees. Weaned DS this way and happy to go for that method again. My problem is that since moving DD from (on demand) BF-ing, I just can't get the timings and amount of my bottle feeding right. She was a fairly hungry baby, or so I thought, feeding every 2 hours or so. Obviously with bottles is massively different, and I just wondered if any FF-ers could give me an example of an eating routine that is working for their wee one, if around that age? I can't seem to get her to take enough during the day, she still wakes at least once for a feed, but is then not hungry in the morning. I know it is not the end of the world but I would like to feel a bit more confident about a routine and to stop throwing out bottles of formula, my getting it wrong is costing us a fortune Hmm
