My boobs are like dog ears. Can I re-plump them?

I know it is pregnancy and not bfing that causes this, but wasn't sure where else to ask for advice. Have searched for past threads but can't find anything that helpful.

Now I've finished bfing, do I just need to wait and hope that I go back to normal, or can anyone suggest something (particular exercises/ underwear) that can help return the sagging mass before me to some kind of pre-pregnancy plumpness.

Because I've always had a bit of extra padding (only a bit) and I was secretly proud of my top half, made up for the rest of me - but no need to share that with anyone.

I'm currently BF 22 w/o DD and my boobs look pretty much the same as before pregnancy, just a bigger cup!

Before I was pregnant I used to do press ups to tone the pec area. They really do work in lifting things!

I think it definitely takes a few months for boobs to recover and plump up. Mine felt a bit empty after bf, but they regained their fullness after a few months.

I do a lot of chest press/press up exercise at the gym in a bid to keep them perky.

But if the dreaded droop has really happened, I don't think anything other than surgery can hoik them back up.

If you try searching for threads about changing breast size after bf you might get more hits, as this does come up on those threads. General consensus is that it takes time for the fatty tissue to build up again.

Thanks all - you have given me hope. I'll try getting into the habit of a few push ups and just wait. Thanks for the tip about key words for other searches too.

Looking forward to fatty tissue returning!

I've been told it actually takes two years for your old fat deposits to come back, after you stop breastfeeding. So be patient!

Combinearvester · 30/04/2012 17:11

As NotQuiteCockney says I noticed a big difference coming up to 2 years, although they only looked really awful for about 6 months Grin

FruitSaladIsNotPudding · 30/04/2012 17:14

It definitely gets better - your boobs replaced fat with milk ( or something like that) during bf, and it takes a while, but the fat will come back. Give it at least a year before you panic.
