I just wondered whether anyone else has experienced this. DS is now 18 months old, and BFs when he wakes up and before he goes to bed (both in my bed). In principal this sounds lovely - a cuddle together and some milk for DS. But in reality, he's jiggling, writhing, swapping sides, straddling me... Sometimes, he'll stand next to the bed and have some milk, but even then, he'll start doing ballet moves, and has even been known to kneel down (owwwww).

Ah yes, I have experienced similar with my DD, now 2. She loves to stand next to me and feed while I am drying my hair in the morning. She doesnt seem to understand/care that stretching my nipple while she dances is a tad uncomfortable for her mummy!

My 13-month old does this already, and I remember it from feeding DS1!

He got so impatient waiting for his bedtime feed this evening that he walked across the bed and just latched on while I was still getting into my pjs Grin

My ds does this all the time!

My 15 mo tries to feed upside down :o
He starts off lying down then squirms around til his legs are up over my shoulder and he feeds while giggling and spluttering.
The only time he feeds quietly is when he's going to sleep.

Oh good, I feel less alone then!
