I had my first child nearly 3 years ago and breast fed him until 10 months (basically until I was 2 months pregnant with DS2). During the pregnancy my milk never dried up completely from DS1. I breastfed DS2 to 10 months as well. So I have now not been breastfeeding for 7months. However, I am still producing breast milk. It does not come out in huge quantities but whenever DS2 cries I can feel the letdown reflex kick in and I leak a little. Also, at random times of day I can feel it happen again and I can express a little milk.

Obviously, if I have ambitions to be wet nurse continual lactation would be a good thing but I am just wondering how long it takes for milk to dry up completely and if if this is normal or should I get it checked out.
