Cups to use with a 15wk baby

My DD is 15wks and EBF. I don't want her to have a bottle and would like her to go straight to a cup. Reading a description for a doidy cup today, it says 3m+ or with assistance, from birth.
Has anyone used one of these (or another type of) cups on a baby the age of my DD? I know we'd have to assist her as she isn't anywhere near old enough to pick it up and drink from it herself. I just have a thing that I don't want her to have a bottle, don't ask me to explain it because I can't.
I should also say I'm not really bothered if there isn't one suitable for use now as I'm not expressing anyway but I'm just thinking about the future. When I go back to work, she will need to take expressed milk from some sort of receptacle.

My DD (8mo) is also ebf. We haven't got her to take a bottle.

When we started on solids at 5mo I gave her a tommee tippee sippy cup (the free flow type) with water at every meal. At first I had to give it to her and tip it up for her. Now she reaches for it herself (with one hand sometimes) when she wants a drink and takes big gulps. She is really good with it now. We haven't yet tried it with milk.

It might take a while for your DD to get used to it and figure out what it is for, but I would say just persist. Offer it often and with every meal when you start weaning. As long as you are still breastfeeding it obviously doesn't matter how much (if any) she drinks.

When are you going back to work?

I was going to return to work in July but decided to postpone till October when she'll be 10 months. I'll be working evenings and so won't be putting her to bed 4 nights a week. She currently feeds to sleep and I just felt that at 7 months it's too young to take that away from her. We plan to wean at 6 months so she won't be taking much in the way of solids by 7 months but if I go back at 10 months, I'm hoping she'll be taking more solids and I won't need to express so much for the evenings I won't be here. She'll have boob access all day still.

I have an irrational dib-dob about bottles too. I bought 3 random free-flow sippy cups (1 Boots own, 1 vital baby & 1 Tommee Tippee) when DS was 16wks, and put all 3 amongst his toys so he could get used to them. Gradually introduced a bit of ebm and helped him learn how to use them. He's now 7mo. Started weaning last month and now he'll happily pick one up and have a good drink of water/ebm without my assistance. He also has a doidy, but that's a slightly messier experience! He can still do it though, and doesn't much like me interfering.

He has a full ebm feed from a cup one night a week when I'm at choir, and goes off to sleep quite happily.

His fave cup is the vital baby one, which I also like as it has a flip-down spout so no leakage in my bag when out & about. He tries to 'sip' from all his bowls/Tupperware/yoghurt pots too; so clearly has the right idea!
