Are the cheap versions of Lansinoh any good?

Just making a list of all the hospital bag stuff I need to get and saw some Boots nipple cream for about half the price of Lansinoh.

Is it as good or should I get lansinoh?

Thanks

no. get lansinoh!

how long before baby is due? sainsburys sometimes have this half-price baby thing where everything is half price. last time I needed lansinoh i got it during that.

but it's worth paying £10 for IMO!

Baby is due 21st June so I have time to look out for offers.

Often own-brand medicine have exactly the same active ingredients as the branded version, but Lansinoh and the boots nipple cream have completely different ingredients. So if you think lansinoh is what you need, I'd get that.

Fwiw I never needed nipple cream so you could just wait and see if you need it, if you are unsure about spending the money.

I have a couple of sample sachets of Lansinoh, would you like them? Then you can pop them in your bag as a 'just in case'.

FWIW, my MW recommended Kamillosan, and havibg had cracked nipples from hell I'm inclined to agree.

If it helps, i have only ever needed to buy one tube, so while expensive you won't have to keep buying it. Found i only needed it regularly while ebf - still bf at 16 months and just use it now and again when there are 'teething incidents'! Was also given a free sample while in mlu, so maybe see how you get on with a freebie before buying.

PM me and I'll post it to you :)

Thanks again Eggy.
