There were no appointments available at my GP yesterday, so no confirmation yet, but I had a temperature on Thursday night, which came down with paracetamol, and no other symptoms appart from an unexplained pain on the side of my breast and a slight soreness when feeding. Could it be Mastitis? What would this mean? I've had no problems bfing for almost 13 months and don't want to stop right now!

Don't stop breastfeeding. If you have a distinct blockage, have a long hot bath and gently massage the affected breast to try to clear it. You may need to get antibiotics if it's really bad. Commiserations- I only had it once but that was enough. It cleared up of its own accord though. My sister on the other hand was taken off to hospital with suspected meningitis when she had it.

Keep feeding, I found a hot bath, massage with a wide toothed comb and a hot water bottle when not in bath helped. I hope it clears quickly.

Ok it wasn't mastitis, or if it was it got averted just in time. Issue was thrush, then a big crack under the nipple Sad which luckily got better with lanisoh.
