Stopped bfing a week ago - now have massive lump and sore boob, help!

I stopped bfing a week ago, cut down really gradually (dropped 1 feed a week and felt I had hardly any milk at the end). Didn't feel different at all until yesterday then today have a massive lump that's very sore on my left (fyi!) boob.

Does everyone have this when stopping? Will it go away or do I need to do anything (cabbage leaves / hot flannels etc)?

I tried googling but links seemed to be about problems happening immediately after stopping whereas it has been a week for me. Thanks!

I had the same issue when I stopped BFing too.
I was fine for about a week and then found that I got lumpy and painful.
You can massage the lump to help to release it.
You can also pump to empty the breasts again, which will relieve any pressure.
