mirena coil after 2 babies...pain

I've had the coil fittted today after 2 children in the last 2 years, it went well apparently yet I am in severe pain, I've had 2 children without pain relief and this is getting up there! Advice please

I took pain relief beforehand and had a it of cramping afterwards but nothing major. How much pain are you in? If it is really bad then I would get it checked out as there is a (rare) risk of the coil perforating the uterus.

How are you today? Like Seona I had period type pains for the first day but nothing a couple of paracetamol didn't sort out. Have you phoned the GP?
