You can take piriton, but the pharmacist won't sell it to you, so go to your gp for it :)

Good question! I want to know too! I had some rubbish homeopathic ones last summer while pregnant- the label on the box said I could take three every half hour which Might as well have been an admission that they didn't work!

Most things are actually safe but most pharmacists unless theyhave access to a certain bf and medications book (think its called Hale) won't actually say it is.

I took beconase, loratadine and cetisomething but think piriton is the absolute safest but makes me drowsy.
