Breastfeeding and blood donation

I'd love to hear any experiences of this if anyone has done it. There's a donation session in my village next month and I'm thinking of going but I'm worried about how crap I'll feel afterwards. I've never donated blood before.

I'm tandem feeding a 13mo and a 3.6yo. No health problems and I will happily eat steak all week and drink neat spatone. Grin

Am I bonkers for even considering it? TIA.

I gave 28 pints before i planned to get pg

i always felt 100% fine after.

not done it since having a baby now, and as we are planning number 2 i dont intend to for a while either

Breastfeeding isn't supposed to be an issue, but you're supposed to avoid for 9 months post birth. Sounds like you're past that, so donate away Grin
