Dd2 is 18 months, how long can I sustain feeding her occasionally

I thought dd2 would never wean but somehow we managed to get down to one morning feed. Now with my part time working it's more like once every 2 or 3 days, or very occasionally in the night or in the day. Just wondering, with such irregular feeding how long I will actually produce milk for?

My understanding is that boobs are incredibly versatile and work on a supply and demand basis so as long as they are needed that will continue to produce, hope that helps
