Bottle fed newborn feeding every 1.5-2 hours- too much?

DD (2.5 weeks) is bottle feeding EBM every 1.5-2 hours during the day and I'm a bit worried she's having too much! I added it up and she's having almost 300ml/ kg, which is around 100-125ml milk per bottle, it just seems like a ridiculous amount of milk? She's giving off all the usual hunger cues, chewing fists etc and definetly seems to need the milk so I couldn't restrict her I don't think anyway but I'm panicking I'm overfeeding her. I haven't had her weighed since 10 days old, at which point she was 3.3kg (just over her BW) but she looks much chubbier and seems to be putting on weight quite fast, is this all okay? I know if I was bfing I wouldn't be worried, I'd be overjoyed! But as it is I'm paranoid.

It sounds like about the same frequency as my DD breastfed at the same age (and carried on with for months) so I wouldn't worry. At some point DD was asking for milk so regularly I took to stroking her cheek with the back of my finger and if she was hungry she would turn her head and try to latch on to it. If she did that I assumed she was hungry rather than just tired or ill or something else. I would just follow your babies cues and trust yourself.
Well done for expressing breast milk, I have much respect for you. I only regularly expressed after going back to work and gave up after 2 months because of all the faff... so well done!
PS my DD put on 14oz in one week at about that age, it soon leveled off to about 6 oz a week. Be prepared for growth spurts where she'll suddenly want more, DD had one at 3 weeks. Feeding every hour for 24 hrs Confused.

Thank you :)

Okay, I will try to calm down a little bit about it! Though alll the praise belongs to a wonderful friend of mine though who's been expressing a couple of feeds a day the last 4 months so I have something to feed DD. Unfortunately I'm not able to bfeed but feel much better knowing at least she's getting breastmilk, my friend is an absolute angel :)

Sounds about right for that age,.

Have you heard of paced bottle feeding? You might find trying that lowers the volumes consumed as some babies can drink from a bottle quicker than their tummies can tell them they are full.

This link has a good description of paced bottle feeding though do be aware that some of the information on the page is directed mothers who have low milk supply and are using bottles to supplement bfing so are trying to prevent baby developing a preference for a bottle.
