green poo and unsettled baby

my baby is 7 weeks old and is breast and formula fed, the past few days she has been quite unsettled and her poo is darkish green colour and stinks more than normal, any ideas what this could be?

Could be a cold or tummy upset - DD has had this with mucus in too but it's passed once her cold cleared up.

Looks like it is caused by the formula if it is dark green like in this photo:

Which brand of formula are you using? DD2 had this problem with SMA, as soon as I switched to a different brand poos returned to normal colour and stopped reeking of rotten vegetables! Worth trying...

Yes its SMA think i will try another brand then, which brand did you switch too? It really does reek, im nearly sick everytime i change her nappy!

She's also had a bit of a croaky throat so maybe a cold aswell, will wait till its passed then see if theres any change, if not i will switch brands

I switched to aptamil and it literally changed after 1 or 2 feeds. Went back to a mustardy yellow colour and stopped smelling almost instantly! Let us know if that works!
