DD is a loud baby so I try to make night feeds as quick and easy as possible.
I warm a couple of the bottles of ebm, that are in the cool box at the side of the bed with the boiled water that is in the flask at the side of the bed. Each bottle has only 2 ounces so that it warms quickly.
I then need to stand up and rock dd until the milk is warm to prevent screaming.
We have been having lots of feeding problems and have been given Gaviscon today. The trouble is, in the time I've poured the powder into the middle-of-the-night feeds (fiddly Dr Brown bottles) DD will most likely have broken into a full-on scream.
So, could I add the Gaviscon to the bottles before I go to bed? I know that the instructions say to add immediately before the feed, but why is that? Does anyone know?
Cheers.
