Coconut milk ok for 17 month old?

My ds is a pain eating and drinking because of reflux. He has poor weight gain because of this. I was looking for an appetite stimulant ( anyone?) and come across coconut milk. I know it's not a stimulant but it's high in calories and vitamins from what I've read.
If it's ok how do I give it him?
Thank you
Thanks

Yes it is fine. We mixed a few tablespoons of coconut cream into DD's porridge in the mornings. I also used tit in rice pudding.

Lol. Ds won't have nothing runny of a spoon which means most deserts.
I was thinking of putting it in a sippy cup...?
