DS (8months) had an anaphylactic reaction to an egg during the week. Luckily we live very close to GP. He has to avoid all egg. I asked if I should give up egg too incase the allergen came through in the breastmilk but the dietician said no that they had not come across a mum having to do that.
I supposed im scared, Im wondering if anyone else has any experience of this? We do have Epi pens just incase.

Don't know with this one sorry nearly but didn't want your post to go unanswered. Hopefully this will bump it for your and somebody who knows will be along shortly, if not though give one of the helplines a call. Here is the number for the National Breastfeeding Line.

Your dietician needs to do some more ersearch. There are loads of mums on here who have experienced reactions through their BM. I don't know about anaphylactic ones, but I do know that my SiL stopped eating eggs and dairy as it impacted on her ds1 so much.
