Unbelievable!

I wonder what the reasons were for the security guard asking her to move were?

I like this bit: "We can be very clear that Nottingham City Council welcomes breastfeeding mothers.

Flashmob anyone? On the steps of the City Council?

mumwithdice · 09/02/2012 12:13

I don't think you need to. The council seems to have apologised and stated that it is ok to bf anywhere. I thought their response was much better than many.

No reason to protest - the council have reiterated policy, promised to ensure all staff are aware of it, and are eating humble pie, just as they should.

Well done that mum for making a fuss!

Katiekitty · 09/02/2012 12:25

Yes, I was just seeing how far they'd go in their acceptance of breast feeding mothers...

ReduceRecycleRegift · 09/02/2012 12:32

I'm always suspicious of these, since the council doesn't support this stance and apologised then it's not really flashboobmob time is it?

my local one turned out to be fake (very odd attention seeking mum)
and the recent bus one turned out to be fake

not that it never happens, but worth considering

I've BF in wriggle and rhymes in various libraries many times, I don't think there is an issue with libraries and bFing

I wonder if it was the security guard acting alone, or whether a member of the public made a complaint.

I could have missed it int he article, did it say? (am doing three things at once at the mo, doing none of them particularly well!)
