Fussing and yanking - 3 mths

Hi everyone, wondered if anyone cd shed light on what might be happening with my DS who is just three months.

First 3 mths went well - he followed his line between the 75th and 91st, fed quickly and only every three hours or so. Always seemed satisfied.

Now tho he is pulling off and thrashing - I take him off to wind him but often it's not that. We do have some calm feeds but more often than not there is pulling and thrashing around. He seems to want both boobs and moans a bit at the end of a feed as if he needs more, even tho he has either drunk the whole boob or just
kept pulling off anyway.

Any ideas what is going on?

Many thanks
Bumps x

We'vee had a bit of this with 11 wk old DD - they have (another) growth spurt around now as well as a big perception change so I was assuming it was that.

Sorry no practical advice - just wanted to let you know you aren't alone in baffling yank-age! X

Have you tried swapping him back to the first boob if he seems like he still wants more? Remember your boobs are never actually empty. I agree it sounds like a growth spurt and he is upping your supply to cope with that. It will pass.
