9 month old lost interest in breastfeeding

I was going to keep breastfeeding ds until 12 months as I did with dd, but over the last week or so he has completely lost interest and so I have stopped. With dd I initiated the end so just wondered if this was normal.

dd went off it at around 8-9 months. I think I overreacted one evening when she bit me and things dwindled from there. However she only finished with the morning feed at about 13 months, but this was earlier than ds.
